Born in 1957 in Czaplów, in the Holy Cross Mountains, Sikora graduated from the Szermentowski High School of Art in Kielce, studying philosophy and pedagogy (1978-1982). He went on to study sculpture at the Art and Pedagogy Faculty of Silesian University in Cieszyn, graduating in 1986. He has been involved in teaching art professionally ever since.
Currently, Sikora is a lecturer at the Fine Arts Institute of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce
and simultaneously runs a sculpture studio there. As well as teaching he makes sculptures, installations and various art experiments. Through this venture, Sikora has had many solo exhibitions and taken part in numerous group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He has taken part in workshops and seminars on modern art. He lives and works „in the shade of big mountain” in the Holy Cross Mountains.
